Micro Analysis of Vastu by Vastu Consultant Dr. Anand Bhardwaj
The Micro Analysis: In micro analysis of Vastu tenets, the whole plot is divided into 81 equal grids & detailed guidelines are laid down in the great olden epics to narrate that each grid represents a particular 'Lord' which is closely concerned with the particular aspect of our life.
The names of those 81 lords are like 'Shikhi', 'Diti', 'Aditi', 'Sarpa', 'Soma' Bhallat', 'Mukhya' and so on. Hence, the nature of the particular 'Lord' is defined as the nature of that grid which affects any one part of our life; be the health, wealth, happiness, character or social recognition and so on.
Needless to say that to make a site contented or wholesome, the presence of the above cited 81 grids is essential. But needs, artistic view point, requirement, limitations, choice and modernized thinking process have collectively created an environment wherein least attention is being given to the regular sizes of any residential or business premises. More over these decisions are mostly in the hands of the builders and the design of the site is an illustration of his imagination. Thus a common mass has no option than to choose and finalize any one site out of the offered lot. However, here are few tips to be pondered upon before finalizing a site:
- The plot or shape of the house or office should be square. This is the best shape as per Vedic Vastu.
- The second best shape is rectangular, preferably within a ratio of breadth and length in 1:2. However it should not exceed to 1:2.5.
- Ideally there should be no cut in any direction.
- The cut in north-east is considered to be the most inauspicious. Hence such place should not be taken for residence of for business.
- The extension in north-east is thought to be very auspicious as per Vastu science.
- If a plot is not in regular shape, it may have one or more dimensions, but in such a case protrusion should only be in north-east.
- If a plot is less in front & more in rear direction, it is called the cow-shaped site. Such place is quoted as auspicious for living, but not good for business purpose,
- If the plan is more in front and less in rear, it is called the lion-faced. Hence, such shape is not auspicious for residence, but positive for commercial use.
- The room, office chamber or other halls etc. should be of four corners. Nothing should be constructed in any corner of the room for storage or toilet purpose.
- These facilities can be made adjoining the particular room as per requirement, but not be constructed in any corner of the room.
- Any cut in reducing line or extending line should be so observed that if south-eastern direction reduced and it causes to extend the north-east, then it shall be a good situation.
- Similarly, cut corner in north-west in such a manner that gradually it causes the extension of north-east, it shall be in the category of positive shape.
- Extension in south-west, south & west is under the category of 'negative' and may adversely affect the personal or business growth.
